Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call
- Prior maintenance or related experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
- Proven ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and working in confined spaces
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of safety and risk management practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and maintain cleanliness of common areas and amenities
- Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments before the make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage area, and clean storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager
- Assist the make-ready specialist with the apartment turn process
- Change locks in accordance with property policy and ensure pool gates comply with safety codes
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Report hazards or potentially dangerous situations to appropriate supervisors
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents respectfully, answering questions, and responding to maintenance complaints
- Comply with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting incidents promptly and accurately
