Valiant Residential is currently hiring for the role of Porter/Groundskeeper. This position is essential to maintaining the property's exterior and common areas, playing a crucial part in the overall upkeep and aesthetic appeal of the community. The Porter/Groundskeeper will be responsible for the daily maintenance and care of landscaping tools and equipment such as blowers and pressure washers. This role involves ensuring that all grounds-related issues are reported to supervisors for vendor handling, thereby maintaining seamless operations and property appearance. The role also involves keeping exterior areas clean on a daily basis and assisting with interior cleaning tasks such as make-ready units, as well as supporting the maintenance team with various duties as assigned.

The individual in this position will be expected to maintain the appearance of the entire property, including community offices, models, apartment complexes, and amenity areas, consistently meeting or exceeding company standards. Duties include a wide range of landscaping and maintenance tasks such as mowing and trimming lawns, watering plants, weed control, pruning trees and shrubs, and using insecticides, fertilizers, and herbicides safely. Additional responsibilities include cleaning around dumpsters, sweeping and blowing breezeways, assisting pool maintenance, and helping with distributing notices. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who is dedicated and willing to work flexible hours including on-call duties and weekends when necessary.
