The role of Groundskeeper/Porter at Maxwell on 66th in Phoenix, Arizona, offers a unique opportunity to be part of this prestigious platform. This full-time position involves ensuring that the physical aspects of the community are maintained to high standards concerning the grounds, amenities, and overall curb appeal. As a member of the service team, the Groundskeeper/Porter supports daily operations by keeping the community safe, clean, and attractive for residents, staff, and visitors alike.

As part of this role, you will conduct frequent inspections of the community to remove litter, debris, and pet waste, ensuring that all common areas and amenities are spotless and inviting. You will be responsible for removing trash from vacant apartments prior to the start of the make-ready process and maintaining storage areas. The role also includes completing minor and routine service requests and assisting during apartment turnover processes. You will play a critical role in maintaining safety by changing locks as per property policy and ensuring that pool gate operations comply with safety regulations. Communication is also key, requiring the distribution of notices and other community communications to residents.

Important responsibilities also include identifying and reporting hazards that may affect residents or team members, and demonstrating excellent customer service by responding respectfully and effectively to resident inquiries and concerns. Commitment to safety protocols is essential in this role, including active participation in safety meetings, completing necessary OSHA and other safety training, and accurately reporting any accidents or incidents.

Physical demands are considerable in the Groundskeeper/Porter role. The ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift weights up to 25 pounds independently (and up to 50 pounds with assistance) is necessary. Candidates must be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions and maintain a flexible work schedule, which includes availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Greystar offers comprehensive compensation and benefits packages that may include base salary plus eligibility for bonus programs based on individual and company performance. Benefits include competitive medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, paid time off starting with 15 vacation days, 4 personal days, 10 sick days, and 11 paid holidays, and a host of other perks designed to support employee wellbeing and professional growth. Additional benefits may include onsite housing discounts, 401(k) plans with company match, sabbatical options, parental leave with fertility benefits, employee assistance programs, and more.

Joining Greystar means becoming part of a diverse and inclusive team dedicated to excellence and innovation in real estate management, valuing every employee's contribution, and offering numerous opportunities for career advancement in a supportive environment.
