We are currently seeking a diligent Porter/Groundskeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall appeal of our multifamily community. The Porter/Groundskeeper is entrusted with the responsibility to ensure a positive first impression for prospective residents, as well as a pleasant and well-kept living environment for current residents. This is a full-time position that combines both cleaning and light maintenance tasks across the common areas, grounds, and vacant apartments of the property.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in performing various cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, trash removal, sanitizing shared spaces like lobbies and laundry rooms, and maintaining landscaping elements including watering plants and weeding. Additionally, the Porter/Groundskeeper assists the maintenance team with routine inspections and minor repairs, supporting the overall operational efficiency and aesthetic standards expected at our community. A key aspect of this job is the interaction with residents and guests, where professionalism and excellent customer service skills are a must.

This position requires physical stamina to perform duties that include bending, lifting, and extended periods of standing. It also involves a hands-on approach to ensuring that vacant apartments are move-in ready, underscoring the importance of attention to detail and a proactive work ethic. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, possess time management skills, and be willing to learn new maintenance techniques.
