Job Description

Inspire Communities is a leading company in the management and development of manufactured housing communities and recreational vehicle (RV) resorts across the United States. With a history spanning more than three decades, Inspire Communities and its predecessor companies have built a strong reputation as one of the country's largest owners and operators in this sector. Their mission focuses on creating vibrant, affordable communities for working families and retirees, alongside attractive vacation destinations for seasonal travelers. This dual approach enables Inspire Communities to cater to diverse resident needs while maintaining high standards of community living. Backed by one of the world's largest alternative investment managers, the company combines institutional discipline with entrepreneurial spirit, positioning itself for significant ongoing growth within the manufactured housing and RV resort markets.

The Groundskeeper role at Inspire Communities is vital in maintaining the exterior appearance, cleanliness, and overall curb appeal of their communities. This position ensures that each community preserves a welcoming, safe, and aesthetic environment that residents and guests can enjoy. The Groundskeeper collaborates closely with the Community Manager and Maintenance Technician to conduct landscaping, grounds maintenance, trash removal, and common area upkeep adhering to company standards for safety, presentation, and cleanliness. This role demands a high level of engagement with landscaping duties such as mowing, edging, shrub trimming, planting, seasonal landscaping, and storm debris removal. Additionally, the Groundskeeper supports seasonal maintenance activities including snow removal, salting sidewalks, and winterizing outdoor areas, ensuring year-round upkeep. Responsibilities also extend to cleaning and maintaining groundskeeping equipment, assisting with community event setups, routine monitoring and reporting of irrigation systems and lighting issues, as well as performing minor handyman tasks when needed. This position is integral not only for the aesthetic appeal of the properties but also for maintaining community safety by addressing hazards and storm debris promptly.

Ideal candidates for the Groundskeeper role are physically active individuals with knowledge of landscaping equipment and basic exterior maintenance skills. The company values employees who show strong attention to detail, can work independently with minimal supervision, and exhibit courteous interactions with residents, colleagues, and the public. The role requires the ability to handle physical labor under various outdoor weather conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Inspire Communities offers a rewarding opportunity with the possibility to grow within an organization that empowers its workforce and values their contributions. Employment with Inspire Communities aligns with a commitment to creating clean, safe, and engaging neighborhoods, ensuring a high quality of life for residents and a fulfilling career path for employees.
