Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience as a groundskeeper or porter
- ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment
- frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- valid driver’s license with clear Motor Vehicle Record
- reliable transportation
- flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and after-hours
- ability to work at other properties as needed
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience as a groundskeeper or porter
- basic property maintenance skills including painting, pressure washing, trash pick-up
- strong customer service and teamwork skills
- flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and be available for after-hours emergencies
- dependability and strong work ethic
- reliable transportation
- ability to work at other properties as needed
- valid driver’s license with clear Motor Vehicle Record
Job Duties
- Maintain community grounds, amenities, and parking areas to ensure a clean and attractive appearance
- prepare vacant apartments for move-in by clearing out trash and assisting with make-ready tasks
- perform general property maintenance, including pressure washing, painting, and trash removal
- assist with light emergency maintenance as needed
- work independently while following community standards for cleanliness and upkeep
- support the maintenance team with additional tasks when necessary
