This full-time Groundskeeper position is based at Assumption University, where Sodexo manages the property’s landscape and maintenance needs. The role is scheduled for weekday morning shifts, with more specific work details provided during the interview process. The pay range for this position is competitive, offering between $22.50 and $25.00 per hour.

As a Groundskeeper at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the university's outdoor environments. The position requires a combination of manual labor and technical skill, utilizing hand and power tools to perform diverse landscaping tasks. Key responsibilities include sod laying, mowing, trimming, edging, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, managing irrigation systems, and the upkeep of parking lots and sidewalks. Seasonal duties such as snow and ice management and sports field setup are also part of the role. Beyond routine tasks, you are expected to be a proactive problem-solver who prioritizes safety and efficiency on the job.

This opportunity is suited for candidates who have horticultural training and hold necessary certifications such as pesticide and herbicide application licenses. Experience operating heavy equipment and a valid driver's license are additional prerequisites.
