Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear
- ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- willingness to work in extreme temperatures below 32 degrees and above 100 degrees
- ability to work safely around moving mechanical parts and toxic chemicals
- commitment to a drug-free workplace and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 100 pounds
- knowledge of safety standards
- good communication skills
- ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Duties
- Maintain time periods for cleaning common areas daily
- clean vacant apartments
- police the grounds
- perform grounds maintenance
- notify supervisor of completed work and readiness for inspection
- maintain accurate records of time worked
- request purchase of necessary supplies through Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager
- report defects or deficiencies for necessary repairs
- maintain high standards of resident relations
- perform duties as requested by Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager
- perform other duties as assigned
