Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, talk, hear
- ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
- ability to occasionally taste or smell
- physical ability to frequently lift and move up to 100 pounds
- regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals
- regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
- risk of electrical shock
- occasional exposure to wet, humid conditions
- occasional exposure to high precarious places
- occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
- occasional exposure to extreme cold and heat
- exposure to vibration
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience or training
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
- familiarity with maintaining cleanliness and grounds maintenance
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in varying weather conditions
- commitment to safety and quality standards
Job Duties
- Maintain time periods for cleaning of common areas
- maintain time periods for cleaning of vacant apartments
- police grounds for litter and debris
- perform grounds maintenance tasks
- notify supervisor of completed work and prepare areas for inspection
- maintain accurate records of time worked
- request necessary supplies through the Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager
- report defects or deficiencies to maintenance staff
- maintain high standards of resident relations
- perform additional duties as assigned by Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager
