Job Description

Dublin Park Townhomes is a residential community dedicated to providing its residents with a clean, safe, and pleasant living environment. With well-maintained grounds, common areas, and facilities, the property takes pride in offering a welcoming atmosphere for all residents and visitors alike. The community operates under strict standards to ensure the upkeep of both indoor and outdoor spaces, contributing to the overall quality of life and satisfaction of those who call Dublin Park Townhomes home.

The Groundskeeper/Porter role at Dublin Park Townhomes is a vital position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the entire community. This includes a variety of spaces such as offices, model homes, the clubhouse, lobbies, laundry rooms, common areas, and the outdoor grounds. The individual in this role must perform all duties with a strong commitment to safety, ensuring that every task is completed not only efficiently but also in a manner that prioritizes the well-being of themselves, residents, and coworkers.

The role demands a routine yet dynamic approach to maintenance and cleaning. The Groundskeeper/Porter must adhere to strict schedules to ensure all common areas and vacant apartments are regularly cleaned and that the grounds are consistently kept neat and free from debris. Close communication with supervisors is essential for the timely completion of tasks and preparedness for inspections to meet the high standards upheld by Drucker + Falk. Importantly, this role involves keeping accurate records of time worked and supply usage to maintain proper inventory levels without overstocking, thereby supporting the operational efficiency of the property management team.

Beyond routine cleaning and maintenance, the Groundskeeper/Porter acts as an essential eyes-and-ears presence on the property. They are responsible for identifying and reporting any defects or issues to the Maintenance Superintendent or Property Manager to ensure prompt repair and upkeep. This proactive attitude helps sustain the property's condition and resident satisfaction.

The position necessitates physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions, from below freezing temperatures in the winter to the heat above 100 degrees in summer. The Groundskeeper/Porter is expected to handle physical demands, including lifting heavy objects up to 100 pounds, climbing, balancing, and working with both hands and arms. This physical aspect is balanced with communication skills to maintain high standards of resident relations and teamwork.

Working at Dublin Park Townhomes offers not only a chance to contribute significantly to the community’s appearance and safety but also presents opportunities for growth within the company. The role is complemented by ample benefits like paid sick leave, vacation, holiday pay, health, dental, and life insurance options, as well as participation in a 401K plan. As an equal opportunity employer committed to maintaining a drug-free workplace, Dublin Park Townhomes fosters a supportive and inclusive environment for all employees who are dedicated to quality and community wellbeing.
