The Grounds Crew position at MEMI is a vital part-time role responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Riverbend Music Center property. This role is designed for hardworking individuals who thrive both independently and in team settings, capable of managing various physical tasks related to property cleanliness and presentation before and after events. Employees in this position operate in small teams, typically working flexible hours that align with the event schedule, including weekends and holidays. The role requires a proactive attitude, physical stamina, and a keen eye for detail to ensure all areas of the venue—from restrooms and seating areas to lawns and parking lots—are maintained to the highest standards. The crew performs hands-on duties ranging from trash management and landscaping to minor repairs and equipment handling, using various tools and cleaning equipment. Scheduled shifts start as early as 6 AM and span up to 8 hours, allowing for a thorough preparation and cleanup around event timelines. This seasonal role provides an hourly wage starting at $15, offering 30 to 45 openings for motivated candidates who are ready to contribute to a dedicated and enthusiastic team. Job Requirements
- Attention to detail and efficient time management skills
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions, especially heat and rain, for a majority of an 8-hour shift
- Understanding and willingness to work around events including weekends and some holidays
- Ability to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
- Capability to lift up to 40lbs
- Willingness to perform tasks on a 6-8ft ladder
- Ability to work in a small group of up to 4 people

Job Duties
- Empty, clean, and move all trash cans and waste receptacles
- Use provided hands-free equipment to clean and sanitize restrooms across Riverbend property
- Replace toilet paper and paper towels in restrooms
- Clean and pressure wash seated areas, often with a fire-hose
- Move necessary facility equipment including temporary barricade, lounge furniture, beach umbrellas, tables and chairs
- Set up VIP chairs in box seat areas according to specific instructions
- Sweep, pick up, and dispose of scattered debris on the venue lawn, blacktop, seated areas, parking lots, walking areas, and expanded property
- Perform various landscaping duties such as trimming bushes, weekly grass mowing and tending to flower beds
- Detail clean any necessary surfaces with chemical cleaner
- Operate a pressure washer to deep clean surfaces
- Complete work orders for minor restroom repairs
- Conduct various painting projects
- Other duties as assigned
