Job Description

Technica LLC is a reputable service-driven company specializing in providing advanced logistics, maintenance, and operational solutions to government and military clients. With a strong commitment to quality and mission success, Technica LLC has developed a prominent position working alongside the U.S. Department of Defense and allied government entities to deliver solutions that enhance operational readiness and effectiveness. The company prides itself on employing experienced professionals who contribute through expert service delivery and strict adherence to compliance and safety standards. They focus heavily on supporting military operations with reliable, efficient, and innovative maintenance and supply chain solutions that stand up to the rigors of military demands and environments. \n\nThe Ground Support Equipment Worker QC position is an integral role within Technica LLC's government contract at Fort Bliss, TX, offering a full-time temporary employment opportunity until October 3, 2026. This position is heavily involved in the inspection, troubleshooting, and quality control of crucial military and civilian equipment including power generation systems, military vehicles, and environmental control units. The role demands a keen eye for detail and expertise in evaluating and ensuring the compliance of repairs with Department of the Army and Department of Defense maintenance standards. Throughout the period of performance, the selected candidate will conduct initial and in-progress inspections to identify deficiencies and required parts, as well as final quality control inspections before work is submitted to Government Quality Assurance. This ensures that all maintenance and repair work meet rigorous standards of quality and functionality, thereby supporting mission-critical operations at Fort Bliss. \n\nThe work environment requires technical proficiency with various diagnostic tools, computer systems, and hand tools to assess and repair complex machinery, hydraulic and transmission systems, air and hydraulic brake systems, and internal combustion engines. Candidates will also be responsible for documenting maintenance activities accurately within automated systems and using the Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) to calculate man-hours effectively. Beyond inspection duties, the role may require performing scheduled maintenance, unscheduled repairs, and operating material handling equipment as assigned by supervisors. \n\nThis role is exceptional for those with military maintenance experience or a background working with military-grade inspection and maintenance systems such as GCSS-Army, EMS, IADS, and AESIP. The position requires EPA certifications in HVAC and Motor Vehicle Air Conditioning, as well as the ability to navigate military maintenance documentation efficiently. Candidates must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, lift heavy equipment regularly, and operate safely around powered machinery using appropriate personal protective equipment. Given the nature of the contract, security clearance eligibility and passing pre-employment screenings are mandatory. Technica LLC supports the development of its employees and offers a challenging work environment committed to excellence in service delivery and operational support.
