This full-time role offers a competitive starting pay of $18.46 per hour, with a schedule of 30-40 hours weekly, primarily between 11:30 AM and 8:00 PM. The position requires availability for weekends and holidays, aligning with the store's commitment to meet customer needs throughout the week. The role involves overseeing daily inventory levels tailored to store capacity, promotions, customer requests, and seasonal changes, ensuring that all assigned areas are well-stocked and presented attractively to boost sales. Responsibilities include training and motivating staff to maintain high standards of customer service, freshness, and stock availability, and maintaining daily date checks for all products.

Additional duties involve utilizing computer systems to support store operations, stocking shelves, setting up displays, processing sales transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the store environment. In the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, this role steps up to open and close the store and perform Manager on Duty functions as required. The role demands proactive engagement in safety practices to maintain a secure environment for both staff and customers, including the correction and reporting of safety issues. The working environment is a retail store open to the public, with exposure to varying temperature levels between -10 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit and occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The role requires active interaction with customers and involves physical tasks such as standing and walking continuously, lifting and carrying items ranging from light to heavy weights, and performing various physical activities such as climbing, stooping, and bending.
