Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- possess a valid driver’s license number
- consistent access to a smartphone
- social security number (US only)
- have any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- successful identity verification
- comply with local regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous delivery or customer service experience is an advantage but not required
- ability to use smartphone technology effectively
- reliable transportation such as car, scooter, or bicycle
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants and stores
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- manage multiple delivery requests
- use the DoorDash app to navigate and update delivery status
- maintain excellent customer service during drop-offs
- follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- manage earnings and payout via the DoorDash app
