This Full-Time Grocery Associate position at Harmons requires a dedicated individual with morning and weekend availability, offering 37-40 hours per week at a competitive hourly rate ranging from $15.00 to $19.48. In this role, the associate will be responsible for maintaining the quality, freshness, and assortment of food products throughout the grocery department. Key responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, rotating products to ensure freshness, and accurately pricing items. The associate will also be tasked with building end-cap displays, cleaning and sanitizing food bins, and assisting with special orders and inventory management. Customer service is a crucial element of this role, as the associate will interact consistently with customers, store associates, and vendors to ensure a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED preferred, alongside basic math skills and a passion for working with grocery products. The role requires strong organizational and planning abilities, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues. A commitment to sustainability, healthy eating, and lifelong learning about grocery products will be highly valued, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment that includes occasional exposure to cold, hot, and slippery conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and handling heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
