This opportunity is for a Grill Cook position, offering an hourly wage ranging from $15 to $21.50. As a Grill Cook at Ruth's Chris, you will play a vital role in preparing the highest quality food, ensuring that each dish is perfectly made to delight Guests. This role involves passionately preparing various food products including meats, poultry, and seafood, following specific recipes, techniques, and procedures. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of culinary experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot environment
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures accurately

Job Qualifications

  • One to two years of previous culinary experience including grill and cold prep preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Delight our Guests with perfectly prepared dishes
  • Passionately prepare food products including all meats, poultry, and seafood items according to recipe, technique, and procedure
  • Assist the side cook and other kitchen personnel in food preparation
  • Ensure Guests have a superior dining experience by correctly timing and preparing all food products
  • Be a team player and maintain high attention to detail
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill and surrounding work areas
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
