We are currently seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our esteemed culinary team under the guidance of our Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Banquet Chef, and Sous Chefs. The role involves a broad range of culinary duties, demanding a versatile and knowledgeable cook who can handle multiple stations and various cooking techniques. Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work any station during daily meal periods
  • Knowledge of continental cuisine
  • Skills in meat, fish, and seafood preparation and cooking
  • Proficiency in baking cakes and bread
  • Ability to prepare sauces and salad dressings
  • Competence in cleaning and sanitizing work stations
  • Ability to create preparation lists and manage inventory
  • Must work in a drug-free workplace

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional kitchen
  • College degree in Culinary Arts is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Work at any station for all daily meal periods
  • Bake cakes and bread
  • Possess solid knowledge of continental cuisine
  • Portion fish, poultry, and seafood accurately
  • Prepare sauces and salad dressings
  • Re-stock the station for the next day
  • Requisition food supplies for any station
  • Breakdown and clean the station
  • Clean and sanitize working area
  • Create preparation lists for different stations including part levels
  • Check with the Sous Chef before clocking out
