Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional kitchen
  • College degree in Culinary Arts
  • Drug free workplace adherence
  • Ability to work flexible hours including all meal periods
  • Strong physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must comply with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional kitchen
  • College degree in Culinary Arts
  • Excellent culinary skills including knowledge of different cooking techniques
  • Ability to handle meat and seafood fabrication
  • Proficiency in ala minute cooking
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to sanitation and cleanliness
  • Good knowledge of continental cuisine

Job Duties

  • Work at any station for all daily meal periods
  • Bake cakes and bread
  • Exhibit knowledge of continental cuisine
  • Portion fish, poultry and seafood
  • Prepare sauces and salad dressings
  • Restock the station for the next day
  • Requisition food for any type of stations
  • Breakdown and clean station
  • Clean and sanitize working area
  • Create preparation lists for different stations including part levels
  • Check with the Sous Chef before clocking out
