We are currently seeking an experienced line cook to join our esteemed culinary team. This role reports to key kitchen leadership including the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Banquet Chef, and Sous Chefs, providing a clear path for growth and professional development within our kitchen hierarchy. The candidate will have an opportunity to enhance their culinary career by working in a fast-paced, demanding environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
As a line cook, you will be responsible for the daily production of food, which encompasses preparation, cooking, and the presentation of high-quality dishes. This role requires excellent culinary skills, including mastery of various cooking techniques, food preparation, and meat and seafood fabrication. You will be expected to proficiently handle ala minute cooking to ensure dishes are served fresh and to the highest standards. The position also requires vigilance in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of your working station to uphold our rigorous health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include working at any station for all daily meal periods, baking cakes and bread, and exhibiting a strong knowledge of continental cuisine. You will be adept at portioning fish, poultry, and seafood, preparing sauces and salad dressings, and restocking stations for subsequent service periods. Furthermore, you will manage requisitions for food supplies, breakdown and cleaning of your station, and should maintain organized preparation lists for different stations including part levels. Regular communication with the Sous Chef is required to ensure all operational standards are met before ending your shift.

- Minimum of 3 years of similar experience in a professional kitchen
- College degree in Culinary Arts
- Drug free workplace adherence
- Ability to work flexible hours including all meal periods
- Strong physical stamina to stand for extended periods
