Job Description
Bear Tooth Grill is a renowned dining establishment located in Anchorage, Alaska, known for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse menu offerings, and commitment to excellent customer service. As part of the city's eclectic and bustling restaurant scene, Bear Tooth Grill has built a reputation for providing a warm and welcoming environment where guests can enjoy a memorable dining experience. The restaurant combines a lively café and brewery experience, attracting locals and tourists alike who seek quality food, craft beverages, and a family-friendly ambiance.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for Front-of-House support positions, including hosts and bussers. These roles are crucial to maintaining the welcoming environment that Bear Tooth Grill is known for. Front-of-House team members serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels valued and well cared for. Whether greeting guests, assisting with seating arrangements, or maintaining the cleanliness and flow of the dining area, the Front-of-House support team plays an integral role in the overall guest experience.
This opportunity offers both part-time and full-time positions with weekend availability required, making it an excellent fit for those seeking flexible work schedules. The ideal candidates are friendly, communicative, and team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment. While previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred, it is not a strict requirement since Bear Tooth Grill provides comprehensive on-the-job training and tools necessary for success.
The roles demand physical stamina, including standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying weights of 30 pounds or more, and managing high-energy environments that require quick thinking and effective communication under pressure. Candidates must possess good organizational skills and manual dexterity to handle multitasking demands efficiently. The ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress situations is essential.
Bear Tooth Grill values its employees and offers a range of competitive benefits, including profit-share bonuses, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as access to employee programs and retirement benefits with company matching. Employees also enjoy perks such as paid time off, meal and drink plans, complimentary entertainment like free movies at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub, and recreational benefits including free ski and snowboard lift passes at Alyeska, discounted memberships to local gyms, merchandise discounts, and social events fostering a strong team community.
Joining Bear Tooth Grill means becoming part of a dynamic and supportive team dedicated to creating an exceptional dining atmosphere for guests while fostering personal and professional growth for employees. If you are passionate about customer service, enjoy working in a lively environment, and want to be part of a respected Anchorage dining institution, we encourage you to apply for our Front-of-House support positions.
