Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of grill cook experience
  • Ability to work Saturdays through Tuesdays
  • Willingness to work full-time or part-time schedules
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and carrying food trays
  • Ability to follow federal, state, and corporate food safety guidelines
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • One year of prior grill cook experience
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends
  • Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
  • Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
  • Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
  • Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality and portion control
  • Stores foods properly following food safety and rotation procedures
  • Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils
  • Resolves customer concerns and communicates with supervisors
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Carries pans, kettles and trays in accordance with safety standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
