Job Requirements

  • Prior restaurant experience
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Ability to prepare food items quickly and accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to carry heavy food trays and equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Willingness to attend in-service and safety meetings

Job Duties

  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation
  • Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
  • Ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Use established ticket-collection procedures during service
  • Use approved recipes and production standards for quality and portion control
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food in accordance with safety standards
  • Store foods properly following food safety and rotation procedures
  • Clean, sanitize and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Resolve customer concerns and report to supervisor
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and customers
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
