Bon Appetit is currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled Grill Cook professionals to join their team at Colorado Christian University located at 8787 West Alameda Avenue, Lakewood, CO. This role is available for both full-time and part-time schedules, specifically from Sunday through Thursday between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm. Offering hourly pay ranging from $21.00 to $21.50, this position includes opportunities for learning, development, and internal employee referral bonuses. The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and serving food at the grill station while adhering to all food safety, sanitation, and quality standards. This position involves utilizing approved recipes and production standards to maintain proper portion control, flavor, visual appeal, and serving temperatures. Grill Cooks engage directly with customers by taking orders, efficiently preparing items that require short cooking times, and ensuring all food meets the highest quality before serving. Additionally, this role requires the maintenance of workstations and equipment, storage of food with proper labeling and rotating procedures, and the ability to effectively resolve customer concerns.

Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a grill cook
- Availability to work Sunday through Thursday 11 am to 7 pm
- Ability to perform physical tasks including carrying pans, kettles, and trays
- Compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares grilled food items requiring short preparation
- Completes orders promptly from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- Ensures food is prepared and served at correct temperatures following established recipes and production standards
- Maintains clean, sanitized, and stocked work areas, equipment, and utensils meeting sanitation guidelines
- Stores food following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation protocols
- Resolves customer concerns professionally and reports issues to supervisors
- Participates in safety and in-service meetings and maintains a safe work environment
