Job Requirements
- At least two years of experience with large volume cooking and different meats
- Ability to perform job duties in compliance with federal and state food safety regulations
- Availability to work full-time schedule Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as required
- Willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in large volume cooking and different meats
- Ability to prepare food according to established recipes and standards
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for portion and temperature control
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation
- Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
- Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner following established service steps
- Ensure food is at correct temperature and visually appealing
- Taste all prepared food items to maintain quality
- Use approved recipes and production standards for portion control
- Clean, sanitize and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Store foods according to safety and rotation procedures
- Resolve customer concerns and report issues to supervisor
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
