Currently, Morrison Healthcare is hiring full-time Grill Cook positions located at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. This role is essential in preparing and serving food in alignment with federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure that high-quality food is consistently delivered. No prior experience is required, as the company is willing to provide training to the right candidates who demonstrate commitment and eagerness to learn. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Take orders from customer and prepare items requiring short preparation
  • Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
  • Serve customers efficiently and in a friendly manner following established steps of service
  • Ensure food is at correct temperature and visually appealing
  • Taste prepared food items for quality assurance
  • Use approved recipes and portion control standards
  • Clean, sanitize and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Store food following safety protocols
  • Resolve customer concerns and report them to supervisor
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
