The Grill Cook position at Eurest, located at 3003 W Casino Road, Everett, WA, offers full-time employment with a fixed pay rate of $24.09 per hour. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food preparation and customer service within a dynamic and supportive environment. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, allowing for weekends and most holidays off, which supports a healthy work-life balance.

As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food at the grill station in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards and regulations to ensure high-quality food service. Your duties will include taking customer orders, preparing foods that require short preparation time, and ensuring that all meals are attractive, tasty, and served at the correct temperature. Hygiene, sanitation, and compliance with safety procedures are paramount in this role, as you will be maintaining cleanliness in all work areas and following food safety protocols such as proper food storage and rotation.

This position requires cooking experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include using approved recipes and production standards, handling equipment safely, resolving customer concerns, and maintaining positive relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and customers. Job Duties

  • Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation
  • complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
  • serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
  • ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • taste all prepared food items
  • use established ticket-collection procedures during service
  • maintain records from area worked during service periods
  • use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control
  • carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
  • store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety and rotation procedures
  • clean, sanitize and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met
  • resolve customer concerns and report relevant information and concerns to supervisor
  • attend in-service and safety meetings
  • maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • perform other duties as assigned
