Job Requirements
- Prior cooking experience required
- Full time availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to cooking
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work in a constant standing position and lift heavy pans and trays
- Willingness to attend training and safety meetings
- Must comply with company policies including drug-free workplace standards
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control standards
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
- Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
- Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Tastes all prepared food items for quality control
- Uses approved recipes and production standards to maintain quality, temperature, and portion control
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food safely to and from workstations
- Stores foods properly following food safety and rotation procedures
- Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Resolves customer concerns and reports them to supervisors
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
- Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
