Job Requirements
- Prior grill cooking experience required
- Ability to work full-time schedule including possible early mornings
- Ability to follow federal and state food safety regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable transportation to Darden Restaurant Headquarters
Job Qualifications
- Prior grill cooking experience
- Ability to work the assigned full-time schedule
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
- Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
- Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Tastes all prepared food items for quality assurance
- Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality and portion control
- Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas and equipment to meet sanitation standards
