Job Requirements
- Prior short-order cooking experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
- Must be able to meet food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry food trays and equipment
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures
Job Qualifications
- Prior short-order cooking experience
- Customer service experience

- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Basic math skills for portion control and measuring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation
- Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
- Serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service meeting outlined standards
- Ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Taste all prepared food items for quality
- Use established ticket-collection procedures during service
- Maintain accurate records for the area worked during service periods
- Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
- Store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards
- Resolve customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
