Job Requirements

Prior short-order cooking experience preferred
Customer service experience preferred
Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm
Must be able to meet food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry food trays and equipment
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual
Willingness to learn and follow company procedures

Job Qualifications

Prior short-order cooking experience
Customer service experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
Basic math skills for portion control and measuring
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

Take orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation
Complete orders from steam tables and serve customers at multiple stations
Serve customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service meeting outlined standards
Ensure food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
Taste all prepared food items for quality
Use established ticket-collection procedures during service
Maintain accurate records for the area worked during service periods
Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control
Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards
Store foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety and rotation procedures
Clean, sanitize, and maintain all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards
Resolve customer concerns and communicate relevant information to supervisors
Attend in-service and safety meetings
Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
