Currently, Nando's PERi-PERi is hiring Front Grill Cooks to join their dynamic team. These roles are available on both full-time and part-time bases, catering to individuals looking for a career in the restaurant industry or those wanting to earn extra income in a fun, supportive environment. The Grill Cook position holds significant importance as these team members take ownership of their station’s preparation and execution of foods, particularly the signature PERi-PERi chicken. Job Requirements

  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
  • Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Basic English language and professional communication skills
  • Able to independently lift to 15lbs for an extended period
  • Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout the shift
  • Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Hand-eye coordination
  • Reaching, bending twisting, stooping
  • Pushing and pulling
  • Lifting overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants with multiple levels

Job Duties

  • Take full ownership for daily preparation and execution of food items in their station
  • Provide an exceptional Nando's experience by efficiently producing the highest quality chicken and other menu items
  • Follow recipes, procedures and presentation standards consistently
  • Assist team members and collaborate with the service team
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the workstation
  • Handle food following safety and sanitation protocols
  • Support a positive and cooperative team environment
