The Food Prep Worker II position at Aramark is a pivotal role within the food service team, designed to support cooks, chefs, and food service managers by efficiently preparing ingredients for recipes and assisting in various food preparation and service tasks. Operating under strict food safety, handling, and sanitation protocols, the Food Prep Worker II ensures that all food preparations adhere closely to established recipes and production guidelines. This role involves prepping ingredients through measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling, with a keen emphasis on safety—especially when using potentially hazardous utensils like knives. You will be responsible for arranging, garnishing, and portioning food following standardized guidelines and maintaining a clean, sanitized work environment by properly cleaning utensils, equipment, and work areas. Additionally, this role requires maintaining excellent customer service with a positive attitude towards guests, clients, coworkers, and others while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and the security of company assets.

Aramark offers this role with flexible shifts, including part-time from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm and full-time from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, providing opportunities that suit varying schedules. This role may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the need to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety.   • Previous food prep experience preferred
  • knowledge of food prep methods and food safety regulations preferred
