Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- previous experience in culinary or cooking roles
- certification in food safety preferred
- knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- ability to work safely with kitchen equipment
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- past engagement in culinary work or a similar cooking role
- profound insight into the principles of food preparation and various cooking techniques
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is vital
- secure the requisite certification in food safety, especially if not already certified
- core competencies in arithmetic and numerical counting
- strong capabilities in both communication and teamwork
- attaining a high school diploma or its equal is favored, though not compulsory
Job Duties
- follow set production guidelines and recipes to prepare a variety of meals
- organize workstations with the required ingredients and equipment for the job
- arrange ingredients by cutting, trimming, measuring, blending, and similar tasks
- utilize different kitchen utensils and equipment like knives, ovens, stovetops, and mixers safely by following recommended guidelines
- cook food by baking, broiling, roasting, steaming, and employing different cooking techniques
- prepare and serve dishes in accordance with established guidelines for their visual aesthetics
- abide by the recommended food safety protocols and store food in the appropriate manner
- purify and sanitize kitchen zones, equipment, and utensils to prevent contamination
- give superior customer assistance and uphold a positive demeanor
- respect and follow all safety and sanitation procedures established by Aramark
- safeguard the well-being of company resources
