The Grill Cook position at Sodexo, located at M.I.T. This full-time role features weekday morning shifts, with hourly pay ranging between $23.00 and $27.00. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for all meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. Your duties will involve accurately measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes, operating grill stations and fryers, and ensuring that all food is prepared to high standards of quality and safety.

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, varying by account and client requirements
