The role of Grill Cook at Sodexo is a full-time position with rotation shifts offering a competitive pay range of $14 to $16 per hour. This position is vital to the food service operation, focusing on preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold menu items while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to safety and hygiene standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently portioning, grilling, and presenting dishes for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0 to 2 years of related experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time rotation shifts
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Willingness to adhere to food safety and workplace safety standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Flexibility to work varying shift schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned which may vary among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
