The Grill Cook position at SodexoMagic is an essential role within their food service team, particularly located within a theme park environment. This part-time role offers a competitive pay rate of $28.10 per hour and requires flexibility as shifts vary including days, hours, weekends, and holidays. As a Grill Cook, the individual is a vital team player who not only prepares and creates nutritious, delicious dishes but also prioritizes reducing food waste and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves working with various kitchen equipment such as grills and fryers and preparing a range of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. The Grill Cook is expected to read and measure ingredients accurately based on recipes, ensuring food quality and consistency.

The Grill Cook must embody reliability by attending scheduled shifts punctually and consistently. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
