Vitense Golfland is a renowned family-owned entertainment and golf facility that has been a staple in its community since its establishment in 1955 by George and Odie Vitense. Vitense Golfland is currently seeking Grill Cooks to join their Food & Beverage team. These positions are available on a part-time or full-time basis, offering flexibility to accommodate different schedules. The role is integral to the kitchen operations, requiring individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments and who take pride in preparing high-quality food. Grill Cooks at Vitense Golfland will be responsible for preparing a variety of meals—including burgers, salads, pastas, appetizers, and more—while following standardized recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.

In this role, Grill Cooks work closely with servers and runners to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery. They must stay vigilant, monitoring incoming orders received via QR codes, kiosks, and servers throughout the facility. Additional responsibilities include plating and garnishing dishes before serving, maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, and cleaning kitchen tools and equipment.

Grill Cooks are expected to maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude, familiarize themselves with all menu options and new offerings, and consistently work to improve their culinary skills and kitchen efficiency. Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish have an advantage but it isn't mandatory.
