Job Requirements
- Cook experience required
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as carrying pans, kettles, and trays
- Ability to work weekends from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to follow company policies and safety procedures
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to pass any required background checks and drug screenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cook experience required
- Ability to follow recipes and production standards
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
Job Duties
- Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation
- Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations
- Serves customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service
- Ensures food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
- Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service
- Stores foods following standard wrapping, dating, and food safety procedures
- Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
