This role operates on a rotational shift basis, offering workdays and hours that vary with open availability preferred. As a Grill Cook within Sodexo's food service team, your primary responsibility is to prepare, cook, and present a variety of nutritious and delicious meals across multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. This role requires a deep passion for culinary arts, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work efficiently under varying shifts. The Grill Cook is integral to reducing food waste by accurately measuring and preparing ingredients according to recipes, ensuring portion control and quality. Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events
  • Read and measure mix ingredients according to recipes
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
