Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0 to 2 years of related cooking or food preparation experience beneficial
- ability to work varying shifts and flexible hours
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with cooking
- positive attitude and customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipes
- prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
- attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time
- follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- perform other duties as assigned that may vary based on business needs and client requirements
