The role of a Grill Cook at SodexoMagic, specifically at the Daimler Trucks Headquarters in Portland, offers a full-time position with competitive pay ranging from $22 to $26 per hour. Your responsibilities will include preparing, portioning, grilling, and presenting a diverse range of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. You will be expected to accurately read, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes to maintain high standards of quality and consistency. Additionally, you may serve customers at an a la carte station, operate kitchen equipment such as grills and fryers, and support overall kitchen operations by attending work reliably and completing additional duties as assigned. Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipes
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
