The Grill Cook position at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, located in Winston, offers full-time or part-time employment opportunities with a competitive pay range of $14.00 to $17.00 per hour. As a Grill Cook at Sodexo, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items with accuracy and efficiency. You will use your skills to grill, portion, and assemble meals for diverse meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. Emphasizing food waste reduction and nutrition, your role directly influences the satisfaction and wellbeing of customers. Beyond food preparation, this role also supports menu execution and customer interaction, making a meaningful difference in the dining experience.

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipe(s)
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
