The role of the Grill Cook at Mo' Bettahs involves being an essential part of the kitchen team, responsible for cooking and preparing various meats such as steaks and chicken that are core to the restaurant's menu. This position requires a strong focus on quality and food safety, ensuring that all meats are cooked to the appropriate temperature and served fresh to customers. The grill cook will maintain a clean and organized grill area, properly store and label food items, and monitor inventory to alert management when supplies need replenishing. Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare meats such as steak and chicken
  • maintain a clean and organized grill area including proper storage and labeling of food items
  • monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies are low
  • ensure all food items are cooked to appropriate temperatures and served promptly
  • follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines including handling and storage of raw meats
  • assist with cleaning and maintenance tasks in the kitchen
  • perform other duties as needed to support restaurant operations
