The company prides itself on its commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability, ensuring that all food service operations meet rigorous standards for health and environmental responsibility. Guckenheimer offers a dynamic work environment that encourages employee growth, diversity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.

This position requires a hands-on approach to food preparation, encompassing duties such as fulfillment of prep lists, adherence to food safety and HACCP guidelines, and safe operation of kitchen equipment like slicers, mixers, processors, blenders, and choppers. The Cook works closely with supervisors and chefs to maintain the highest possible standards of service quality and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with all internal audits and regulatory guidelines. The role demands physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods, as well as the ability to lift moderate weights and work under time-sensitive conditions, especially during peak service hours.

Employees in this role are expected to participate actively in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) initiatives, fostering a safe and compliant workplace. Guckenheimer supports employee development by providing comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, alongside a thorough leave program that reflects the employment status of each individual. The company values open communication and encourages employees to report any discrepancies or safety concerns to management promptly.

Through this position, individuals have the opportunity to join a respected leader in the food service industry that is committed to inclusivity and excellence. Guckenheimer not only seeks candidates with professional cooking experience or equivalent education but also those who embody a strong work ethic, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced culinary environment. By joining Guckenheimer, you become part of a diverse global community committed to resilience and fairness, leading by example within the industry and positively influencing the marketplace wherever operations exist.
