Parkhurst Dining is actively seeking individuals who are passionate about food and hospitality to join their team. The role available is a Cook position focused on preparing grill and fryer items in alignment with Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions. The Cook will play a pivotal role in ensuring that food is consistently prepared to high standards of taste, appearance, and temperature, reflecting the authentic Parkhurst culinary experience.

In this role, the Cook will be responsible for preparing all grill items to order according to the daily menu, setting up and breaking down the grill station, and keeping the service line garnished properly at all times as instructed by the Executive Chef or management. The position requires checking the quality of food items regularly and reporting any substandard quality to the Executive Chef or management to maintain the highest standards. Key to this role is interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, demonstrating Parkhurst's Smile Plus Hospitality Imperatives. The Cook will also be tasked with posting necessary signage, following production sheets to ensure proper serving utensils and food quantities are used, and completing these production sheets in accordance with company standards.

Maintaining cleanliness and following a strict cleaning schedule using "clean as you go" techniques is essential to the role. Communication with management about products and supply needs will be a consistent part of the job to ensure smooth operations. The Cook must adhere to the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene as part of the Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards. Collaboration with fellow team members is encouraged, with the expectation to assist whenever possible. The position also requires the flexibility to perform any other duties assigned by management.

The physical demands of the role include standing and/or walking 100% of the time, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds, and frequently lifting up to 20 pounds. Job Requirements

Job Duties
