Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Ability to stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods without rest
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to bend, stoop, taste, smell, verbally communicate, and have good vision including color and depth perception
- Must maintain standards of hygiene and grooming
- Must comply with current health and safety guidelines
- Must be able to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area
Job Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Strong menu knowledge
- Ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate tickets
- Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for extended periods
- Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
- 0-2 years related experience
Job Duties
- Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Prepare visually appealing meals, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of hot and fresh meals
- Follow recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods according to proper preparation methods
- Work with approved cooking equipment and methods to deliver high quality meals
- Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming, frequent hand washing, and glove use to prevent bare hand contact
- Comply with standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
- Maintain high standards of quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
- Prioritize food preparation to complete all items for a check simultaneously
- Properly maintain and operate kitchen equipment effectively
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other assigned duties
