This position is for the role of Greeter at one of Din Tai Fung's flagship locations in Portland, Oregon, situated conveniently in Pioneer Place. As a Greeter, you will play a crucial role in guests’ initial impressions by warmly welcoming and efficiently managing the flow of customers through the restaurant’s text message waiting system. This role requires a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor while ensuring that guests are seated promptly and accurately to maximize seating efficiency and reduce wait times. The Greeter is essential in fostering a seamless dining experience by balancing operational needs with guest satisfaction. The position offers a competitive base pay of $16.30 per hour, supplemented by an estimated $9.25 to $10.50 per hour in tips, reflecting the value placed on exceptional customer interaction.
