Job Description

Piper restaurant is a distinguished dining establishment located within The Seabird Resort in sunny Oceanside, California. Nestled just off the beach, Piper offers guests a unique garden-to-table dining experience that highlights fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant is known for its bright and convivial California-coastal ambiance, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists seeking exceptional food in a relaxed and scenic environment. During the daytime, Piper serves breakfast and freshly pressed juices, catering to guests looking for a light and refreshing start to their day. As evening approaches, the restaurant seamlessly transforms into a warmly intimate setting featuring an open kitchen, a full bar, and a wraparound outdoor patio, making it an ideal location for casual dinners and social gatherings.

The role of the Greeter at Piper restaurant is vital as these individuals are the first point of contact for guests and set the tone for the entire dining experience. Greeters are responsible for welcoming patrons with warmth and professionalism, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive. Their duties include providing table accommodations, managing waitlists, and offering menu recommendations to enhance the guest experience. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The hourly wage for this part-time, seasonal role is $19.50, and the position is expected to last until approximately September 5th, 2026. Working at Piper also provides the opportunity to be part of Hyatt’s renowned hospitality brand, which is dedicated to fostering a supportive and rewarding workplace culture for its colleagues.
