The role of Greeter at HGreg is crucial as front-line representatives of the dealership. This position is designed for individuals who are personable, professional, and efficient in managing customer interactions from the moment visitors enter the showroom. Greeters welcome customers warmly, register their visit details into the dealership’s CRM system (DealerSocket), and ensure they are directed to the appropriate sales associate for assistance. Acting as the first point of contact, a Greeter must exemplify the dealership’s values by maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor whether interacting in person or over the phone.
The Greeter’s responsibilities extend beyond simple greetings to include answering basic customer inquiries and facilitating smooth and timely communication between potential buyers and sales staff. In addition to showroom duties, Greeters assist the service department during busy periods, helping to manage customer flow and collect necessary information to enhance service delivery. This role requires individuals to be adaptable and customer-focused, with a keen attention to detail in recording accurate visit information.
Working an 8-hour shift that includes weekends and enjoys two days off per week, Greeters are integral to creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere that encourages customer satisfaction and repeat business. Experience in customer service is preferred, and familiarity with HGreg’s sales process is advantageous. Job Duties
- Greets showroom customers and determines the nature of their visit
- register customers in our CRM (DealerSocket)
- communicates with guests in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
- answers basic customer inquiries and refers more extensive inquiries to Sales Manager as appropriate
- directs customers to the correct department, notifies the appropriate salesperson that a customer is waiting, or introduces the customer to a salesperson
- greets customers in the service department during morning rush hour and obtains basic customer information
