Job Description

Chili's is a well-established casual dining restaurant chain that originated in Dallas, Texas, in 1975. Over the decades, Chili's has earned a solid reputation in the industry by offering a warm atmosphere where great food, drinks, and excellent service come together. Known especially for its iconic Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, full-on fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas, Chili's promises a memorable dining experience that combines quality with a relaxed, friendly ambiance. The company culture is deeply grounded in hospitality, teamwork, and a passion for service, continuously striving to exceed Guest expectations while fostering a fun work environment where every team member feels valued and motivated to contribute. Chili's also highlights its commitment to giving back to the community and maintaining a strong sense of corporate social responsibility, which resonates both with Guests and employees alike.

The role of a Chili's Manager is pivotal to the restaurant's ongoing success and reputation for hospitality excellence. Managers at Chili's are more than just operational leads; they are the heartbeat of the restaurant. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about people and customer service, excelling at creating exceptional Guest experiences while balancing business priorities. As a Manager, you will actively lead your team by example, fostering open and effective communication, promoting accountability, and driving performance through a win-together attitude. The environment is high-energy and fast-paced, demanding excellent multitasking and leadership skills to handle various operational challenges and team dynamics.

Chili's Managers are expected to 'lead with heart and mind,' meaning that they not only focus on hitting financial targets and operational benchmarks but also prioritize building strong relationships within the restaurant and the local community. By championing change, introducing new initiatives, and carefully managing costs through Chili's proven systems, Managers play an essential role in sustaining the restaurant's profitability and quality standards. Recruiting, training, retaining, and developing team members are critical duties for this position, emphasizing growth and opportunity within the organization. The role also involves ensuring compliance with food safety standards and operational procedures that maintain Chili's commitment to excellence.

This leadership role comes with a competitive salary range of $64,000 to $69,000 annually, reflecting the responsibilities and the impact the Manager has on the overall business. It offers the chance to work within a nationally recognized brand that values camaraderie, a positive atmosphere, and ongoing professional development. If you thrive in a dynamic, people-focused environment where your efforts make a tangible difference every day, the Chili's Manager position represents a fulfilling and challenging career opportunity.
