The Pool Server position is designed to provide outstanding resort-style food and beverage service in the outdoor poolside environment. This role involves attending to guests lounging around the pool with attentive, efficient, and courteous service catered to enhance their relaxation and enjoyment. The successful candidate will handle order taking and entry accurately, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are met. Serving food and beverages swiftly and safely is paramount, alongside maintaining a clean and orderly poolside area including lounge chairs, tables, and cabanas. This position requires a natural ability to engage guests with a friendly demeanor, actively promote menu items and specialty drinks, and manage cash and POS transactions efficiently. Additionally, the Pool Server is responsible for adhering to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations as well as pool safety protocols, ensuring a secure and pleasant environment for all.

This role requires excellent multitasking skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and a professional appearance with a positive attitude suitable for high-energy outdoor hospitality settings. Candidates should expect to work in various weather conditions and be comfortable moving throughout wet and often slippery pool decks carrying trays and beverages. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak pool season shifts are essential.
