Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional culinary experience including leadership in a commercial kitchen
  • knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and allergen awareness
  • capability to design seasonal menus with wine pairings
  • strong organizational skills with cost management experience
  • leadership ability in busy environments
  • effective communication and teamwork
  • willingness to engage with guests
  • enthusiasm for hospitality and storytelling

Job Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of professional culinary experience including leadership in a commercial kitchen

  • skillful balance of creativity with organization and cost awareness
  • confident and calm leadership in high-volume or high-visibility environments

  • passion for hospitality, storytelling, and delivering memorable moments

Job Duties

  • create seasonal, wine-focused menus for tastings, events, and private experiences
  • lead all kitchen operations, ensuring service readiness, consistency, and quality
  • collaborate with hospitality and wine education teams to align food and wine storytelling
  • manage food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all health regulations
  • develop systems for prep, execution, inventory, and cleanup that scale with demand
  • manage food and labor costs, minimize waste, and maintain cost targets
  • hire, train, schedule, and develop kitchen staff
  • foster a respectful, inclusive kitchen culture and provide clear feedback and coaching
  • source ingredients thoughtfully, prioritizing local and seasonal partners
  • partner cross-functionally on events, programming, and new guest experiences
